You are Meant for Deep

“Real spirituality is the quest for truth, in all its forms. Sometimes we find the truth on a meditation cushion, and sometimes we find it in the heart of conflict. May all spiritual warriors rise into fullness. This planet is lost without them”

– Jeff Brown

Life is complex, rich and layered, if we allow it to be. My super heroine, Marianne Williamson, would say that we can play life shallow or we can play life deep. Deep, to me, means realizing how much juiciness there is for us to experience in life and going for it, or better yet, simply allowing it without judgment. Sometimes allowing it means saying yes to the dream vacation that is a bit out of budget because your soul is calling for it deeply. Sometimes allowing it means really crying without holding back because you know the importance of release and letting that energy flow. Sometimes allowing it means having that difficult conversation because you know the importance of self-expression and honoring your truth. The list is endless because our possibilities are endless. We have to allow ourselves to experience the fullness of who we are. As another hero of mine would say:

“No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.” – Carl Jung

Go deep, and then watch as you rise into your fullness. You can handle deep, I promise. In fact, you were meant for deep, rich, expansive, and infinite. Yes, you’re really that powerful and that awesome! Honor your truth in whatever form it comes and express it, experience it. Allow the fullness of who you are without judgment and watch yourself thrive. And hey, when you grow to heaven, you’ll probably look back and say, “Hell really wasn’t all that bad because it got me here. It made me the person I am today. And for that I am grateful.”
